Petting zoos are known for their warmth and charm, but here, at Animal Gardens, we offer something special: it’s our Baby Animal Barn, a child-friendly and interactive environment where children and adults alike are invited to pet, hold and feed animal babies of several species. The barn is staffed by college interns, all of whom are interested in careers in animal-related fields. They serve to help educate as well as make the animals accessible to one and all.
Stroll from the barn into our outdoor petting zoo where more animals are eager to greet you up close and personal, then, take a trip on foot or by wagon through our fields of larger exotics and farm-variety animals. Don’t forget to stop and watch the horses frolic in the sun.
Animal Gardens is home to some 16 species of exotic creatures as well as 60 hay-eating animals.
One admission price entitles you to enjoy our baby barn, outdoor petting zoo, and our nationally famous bird show!
